Bangladesh v South Africa 2nd T20I betting tips, preview & predictions

South Africa will look to seal off the T20I series against Bangladesh when the two teams meet in the second & the final game on Tuesday. The Bangladesh v South Africa 2nd T20I betting tips are placed at the end of the article.

South Africa wrapped up the series 2-0 after beating Bangladesh by 31 runs.

If South Africa’s performance in their warm-up game was a curtain-raiser, they definitely showed what they could do at even the highest level. Bangladesh, fresh from their series win against India, were pulverised into submission by the visitors, on a tough pitch.

Known to struggle against spinners in such conditions, the South African batsmen mustered up a score of 148 for four in their 20 overs thanks to captain Faf du Plessis’ 79. Rilee Rossouw chipped in with an unbeaten 31 towards to end to push the score up after it looked at one stage they would struggle to get there.

In reply, Bangladesh were done in by a joint effort from the South African quicks and spinners. Only one bowler, the inexperienced Kagiso Rabada went for more than six an over and Bangladesh were never in the hunt despite being 50 for two at one stage.

They were bowled out for 96 with Shakib al Hasan’s 26 being the best effort. David Wiese ended with 2/12 while JP Duminy bowled four overs and had figures of 2/11.

Going into the second and final T20I, Bangladesh might need to come up with a better plan than just rolling out a spin-friendly track. And definitely a better batting showing.
