Fernando Verdasco v Nick Kyrgios betting tips & live streaming Rogers Cup

It’s a classic battle of experience versus rawness as the Spanish veteran Fernando Verdasco will take on the 20-year old Australian Nick Kyrgios, in the first round of the ATP Rogers Cup 2015 on Tuesday afternoon in Montreal. The Fernando Verdasco v Nick Kyrgios betting tips & live stream can be found below.

As we predicted, not only did Nick Kyrgios win the match but it also lasted three sets. That’s a good chunk of money earned had you followed it!

The two players have never met each other in the past and this is certainly going to be a blockbuster match.

Kyrgios is coming in this tournament after slipping down in the rankings to the 41st place. The Australian is still seeking his first singles title and has had a pretty decent season so far. His last major event on the tour was the Wimbledon, where he reached the fourth round, after defeating Milos Raonic.

However, he was unable to overcome Richard Gasquet and ultimately lost to him in four sets. After the Wimbledon, he proceeded to play in the Davis Cup, where he lost to the Kazakh Aleksandr Nedovyesov with 6-7(5), 7-6(2), 6-7(5), 4-6.

In the ATP Estoril, he was the runner-up, where he was denied the title by none other than Gasquet. Only other occasion where he had an equally brilliant run came in the Australian Open, where he reached the quarterfinal, before succumbing to Andy Murray in straight sets.

Verdasco on the other hand has been struggling quite a bit with his form since the Wimbledon. He has played in two events since then, but the world no. 38 failed to move past the first round in both the cases, losing to his compatriots. In the Swedish Open, it was Nicolas Almagro who routed him, while in ATP Hamburg; it was Rafael Nadal who stumped him.

The Spaniard has never made it past the third round in the Rogers Cup, in his entire career. The best run that he has had so far this year came in ATP Quito and Houston, where he reached the semifinal. He also reached the fourth round in the Miami Masters, while overcoming Nadal on the way there. As for the Wimbledon, he couldn’t make it past the third round there.

Kyrgios has the momentum, but Verdasco has the experience. It may be too close to call, but I will have to go with the youngster on this one.
