Rafael Nadal v Borna Coric betting tips & live streaming US Open

Rafael Nadal v Borna Coric betting tips can be found here as the two players will go head to head in the first round of the 2015 US Open. The match will be played on Monday evening at Flushing Meadows in New York.

Nadal won in four sets to make it to round two.

Nadal’s performance this season has been a highly disappointing one by his standards. The former world no. 1 has failed to move past the quarterfinal of all the three Grand Slams. Moreover, he has won only three titles so far, two of which were in the ATP 250 series.

The world no. 8 lost in the quarterfinal of Australian Open to Tomas Berdych, while in Roland Garros, it was Novak Djokovic who defeated him. However, he incurred one of the major defeats of his career in Wimbledon, where he lost in the second round itself to Dustin Brown.

There have been a couple of tournaments where he has shown certain signs of recuperation, mainly in the Madrid and Monte Carlo Masters. In the first case, he was the runner-up, having lost to Andy Murray. In the latter, he lost in the semifinal to Djokovic.

His US Open series was a disappointing one, having failed to win a title. In the Rogers Cup, he lost to Kei Nishikori in quarterfinal, while in Cincinnati Masters next, he lost in round of 16 to his compatriot Feliciano Lopez.

Coric on the other hand is gathering a lot of traction at such a young age. The 18 year old, who is the 35th ranked player, has had a fairly decent season. Though a singles title eludes him, he has certainly done enough to break in the top 50. His best run came at ATP Dubai, where he was the semifinalist, losing to Roger Federer.

While Nadal has been struggling a bit with his form this year, it is more than possible for him to incur an early defeat on Monday. Coric is a dangerous player, and he needs to be on the lookout.
