Zimbabwe v Pakistan 2nd T20I betting tips & predictions at Harare

Pakistan will look for back to back wins over Zimbabwe as the visitors look to secure the two-game T20 international series on their latest tour. The upcoming game will be played at the Harare Sports Club on Tuesday, September 29. The Zimbabwe v Pakistan 2nd T20I betting tips & predictions have been placed here.

Pakistan won by 15 runs to win the series 2-0. The ODI series follows with the first Zimbabwe v Pakistan match here.

Zimbabwe failed to complete what should have been a straight-forward chase as Imad Wasim wreaked havoc with the ball. Skipper Shahid Afridi won the toss for the visitors who chose to bat first.

Mukhtar Ahmed had been impressive against Zimbabwe in Pakistan earlier this year but failed to make an impression on Sunday. Ahmed Shehzad struggled against the new ball and was cleaned up by Chamu Chibhabha two deliveries before Mukhtar’s dismissal.

Sean Williams dismissed Shoaib Maqsood on the cheap as well and Pakistan were struggling at 29/3 at the end of 5.3 overs. Shoaib Malik, the top scorer for Pakistan on the day with 35 runs to his credit, had Umar Akmal keeping him company briefly before Akmal held out to Graeme Cremer. However, Mohammad Rizwan played a sensible knock of 33 off 32 deliveries in the circumstances while Wasim let loose at the other end with 19 runs from 12 deliveries.

Chasing 137 runs for the victory, Zimbabwe were rocked at the start of the innings when Wasim bowled Chibhabha on the final delivery of the first over. Hamilton Masakadza made 25 runs at run-a-ball before becoming Wasim’s third victim after the bowler had dismissed Sikandar Raza.

In the meantime, Craig Ervine had been adjudged leg-before-wicket to Sohail Tanvir. Wasim returned to dismiss Sean Williams as the hosts were reduced to 66/5. With their hopes fast fading, skipper Elton Chigumbura tried in vain to guide Zimbabwe to a win. He had no support from the other end at all as wickets kept tumbling. Chigumbura was run out on the first delivery of the nineteenth over by Rizwan as he tried to get on strike. In the end, Pakistan had won by 13 runs.
