Perth Scorchers v Brisbane Heat betting tips & live streaming

After a short break for Christmas, the Big Bash League (BBL) resumes on Boxing Day at the WACA, with match No.9 of the tournament, between the reigning Champions the Perth Scorchers, and their visitors Brisbane Heat. Here’re the latest Perth Scorchers v Brisbane Heat betting tips & watch its live streaming here.

Result:
Scorchers won by nine wickets.

Overview:

The teams will go into Friday’s match, both in the bottom half of the table at this early stage, having yet to record a win between them.

The Scorchers have only played one match so far in defence of their title. Resulting in a defeat to the Adelaide Strikers, who themselves are played two and won two. Meanwhile the Heat have played twice, and lost on both occasions.

Perth posted a reasonable total at the Gabba of 151-6, with Australian internationals Shaun Marsh na Adam Voges both scoring 40’s. However, a lack of support from the talented middle-order, left them somewhat short of a winning total. Overseas signings Michael Carberry and David Willey, as well as Mitchell Marsh and Cameron Bancroft, all failed to get into double figures, and will have to perform much better against the Heat, when the Scorchers will be without their Test players, who will be involved in the second Test against the West Indies.

Having lost their first outing to the Renegades, the Heat travelled to Tasmania to take on the Hobart Hurricanes last Tuesday, hoping to get their first win against a side that had been dismissed for less than 100 in their first game.

However, the bowling attack lacked the experience and skill to contain Tim Paine who smashed 87 off of 58 deliveries, which along with rapid 40’s from Kumar Sangakkara and George Bailey propelled the hosts to 184-3.

Unfortunately for the Heat, they lost wickets at regular intervals, and were always struggling to maintain the required run rate. Jason Floros and Nathan Reardon both scored 40’s, but their side needed them to go on and make a big score if they were to chase down their target.

If Brisbane’s bowlers don’t improve on their efforts in Hobart, they could be in for more trouble in Perth, even though the Scorchers will be without their Australian Test players.
