A total of six teams will feature in this year’s Asia Cup Qualifiers and only one of them will join five other teams in the main round of the Asia Cup. While the main tournament will be played in UAE, these qualifiers will be held in Malaysia. UAE will have Hong Kong, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore and Oman for company as they look to make it to the main draw of the Asia Cup.

The tournament will begin in the final week of August with Malaysia taking on Hong Kong, Nepal playing Oman and UAE facing off against Singapore in the opening round of matches. All teams will play the other sides once apiece to make it five matches in the league stage of the tournament.

The top two teams at the end of the league stage of the tournament will make it to the final of which one side will qualify for the Asia Cup.
