The good news for football fans is that these World Cup tickets will not be sold on a first-come-first-served basis. All fans who want to apply for these tickets will need to register at the official FIFA website and select from between the available options and within the specified date.
At the end of that time frame, a lottery draw will decide which fans end up getting the tickets in case there’s an over-subscription of any kind.
Once these football tickets are released, we will have more information here. What we can also tell you is that if you aren’t able to get your tickets on the above website for starters, FIFA will re-release some of the tickets at a later stage, so please don’t lose hope.
There is a final option too if you really are desperate and cannot give the competition a miss at any cost – you can buy them from Viagogo.com, which is a secondary sale website for tickets of all kind including the 2018 World Cup.
