Yorkshire v Worcestershire betting tips & predictions NatWest T20 Blast 2015

Yorkshire are in a desperate, must-win situation when they take on Worcestershire in their NatWest T20 Blast game on Tuesday. The Yorkshire v Worcestershire betting tips for this NatWest T20 Blast game follow.

Worcestershire registered a crushing 74-run win over Yorkshire.

It has been another poor run for Yorkshire in this format of the game. They have managed to garner just nine points from 11 games and even if they win all their remaining three, they would only get to 15.

And 15 isn’t a number that brings assurance of a quarter-final spot. Not that Yorkshire look like they can win all three anyway, such has been their form.

For a side that seemed to have managed to a coup by signing on both Australians, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell, things have gone horribly wrong. And it went one worse last game when they lost to the bottom-placed Derbyshire as well.

Worcestershire need just one more win from their remaining three matches and they should have sealed their quarter-finals berth. Currently second on the table with 14 points, Yorkshire’s poor form should give them that opportunity.

The loss of Moeen Ali, who is now playing for England in the Ashes, will be an issue and that’s what was probably one of the reasons behind their loss to Warwickshire. However, they do have the in-form Tom Kohler-Cadmore in their ranks and that could be the difference between the two sides.

It must be said though that Jonny Bairstow’s coming of form will be on immense help to the side.

Players to watch out for:

Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Worcestershire):
He has 341 runs for Worcestershire and while there were signs of his early form tapering off, he seems to have taken off yet again. Can he deliver his side the goods? Or will he be the lone ranger?

Glenn Maxwell (Yorkshire):
When you have two T20 super-talents like Maxwell and Finch, it’s difficult to see what’s going wrong for them. Maxwell’s averaging 23.55, Finch’s at half of that and it’s tough to see that continue game after game. Here’s where we believe that Maxwell will get going with Finch ruled out of the tournament.

Yorkshire v Worcestershire head to head:

Five matches have been played between these two sides and interestingly, Yorkshire lead 3-2.

Yorkshire v Worcestershire betting tips:
Yorkshire to win: 5/6
Kohler-Cadmore to be Worcestershire’s top batsman: 7/2
Maxwell to be Yorkshire’s top batsman: 9/2

Match starts at 6.30 pm local time (1730 hours GMT) on July 14.
