Among the new sides, U.P. Yoddha purchased the services of Nitin Tomar for a record buy of 93 lakhs, making him the costliest player in the history of the league. They also picked up the likes of Nitesh Kumar and Rajesh Narwal.

Moving on to Haryana Steelers, they have got themselves the second largest team in the league with 22 players. Considering that the state is known for producing world class wrestlers and athletes, fans will certainly have high hopes from them.

The Tamil Thalaivas too, have left no stone unturned in order to ensure a good chance of success in their maiden season.

They have prepared a full roster of 25 players and it will be interesting to see how things pan out for them, Bengal Warriors too will be hoping for a good season this year, especially after their disastrous spell last year. Having finished at the bottom, they are among the sides with lowest successful raid rates.

Last year’s runners-up Jaipur Pink Panthers will be hoping to go the distance this year. Having won the inaugural edition of the PKL, they came extremely close last season to repeat the feat. However, they incurred a bitter defeat at the hands of Patna Pirates.

Bengaluru Bulls too, will be hoping for a good run, seeing that they have been finishing in the bottom half of the table since last two seasons. Same can be said for Dabang Delhi too, who have failed to get a top four finish since the commencement of the league.

This time, it will be a lot more difficult for these sides to reach the top, but that is where the thrill of the sport lies. You can catch the action from Friday, July 28th.

We will update the latest favourites and Pro Kabaddi League betting tips for this fifth season once we get closer to the tournament.
